I hope that you are enjoying the holiday season. Hopefully, you were able to Share the Merry with loved ones and your celebrations brought true joy to your hearts and the hearts of those around you.
So, onward and upward, (hopefully, keeping the joy of the holidays in our everyday hearts) we are on the homestretch to 2013. We all have so many things to do once we hit January 1st. Diets, nutrition plans, exercise programs, new promises, breaking old habits, etc. What do you have in mind for 2013?
Each of us has our own plan in mind. Many of us will start 2013 out strong with the best intentions, only to slowly go back to what we are used to. Others will make a commitment and stick to it…for a year…maybe for life. We are all so very different. So, here’s what I think. Put your plan in place. Work on it. Don’t compare yourself to anyone else. There really is only one you. If you have a bad day, don’t give up on your plan. Don’t be ashamed because you feel like you failed, be proud that you are trying. And then try again.
Life is short. Just keep on trying. And, if for some reason your 2013 plan involves new shoes (new job, yoga, running, hiking, walking, plain old wearing shoes that are good for your feet), come in and see us. You can even tell us your plan and we will help you find the right shoes for success. You can start 2013 out on the right foot…and then the left…and then the right. Hahaha! It’s a new year, let’s have some fun!
