A Shout Out to the Fellas

This is a shout out to all the fellas, since you know, our Men’s Event is going on right now and all. First and foremost, let me just post a link to our Men’s Event coupon. I am a firm believer in first things first, so here you go – https://shoef.ly/1bsm0Nf.

Anyway, let’s get back to the Men’s Event. This is a special time at Schuler Shoes where we focus on the fellas. We like to showcase a variety of some of our best shoes for all occasions, because everyone knows that behind every good man is a good woman really good pair of shoes.  Come on, I would say the same thing about women.  I am all for men and women supporting each other, but in the end, when you are at work all day or on the dance floor all night, it is your shoes that support you and keep your feet, legs and back feeling good.

We have quite the selection of men’s shoes, so I thought I would post a few of my favorites that I would personally buy for my husband.  Just in case he is reading this post (of course he is) and disagrees with my selections for him, I have exciting news!  We have wonderful customer service and a great return policy, so he can just bring them on back and pick out the ones that he prefers.  🙂

I based my selections on a few important factors….

#1  My husband is on his feet quite a bit at work, so he needs supportive dress shoes.  For this, I choose the Dublin Apron Tie by Ecco. This is a lightweight, durable lace-up dress shoe that offers a polished look and all day comfort.

#2  He is in and out of airports a lot, so slip-on shoes are pretty important (he has a system at airport security and it revolves around slip-on shoes for speed and efficiency). 🙂
Casual Travel Days – For casual travel days, I choose the Bjorn by Naot.  This is a great looking casual shoe that is easy on/easy off, but also provides a cork footbed for out of this world comfort.

Business Travel Days – For dressier travel, I choose the un.sheridan by Clarks. This handsome slip-on combines a polished look with all day comfort. This shoes offers a padded collar and a removable footbed that cushions each step. And, as if that wasn’t dreamy enough, this shoes has an innovative Air Circulation System, which is a climate control technology that keeps feet feeling fresh and comfortable all day.

#3  My husband is on the go with our kids quite a bit as well, whether he is coaching, going to their games or just taking them to the movies.  So, he needs comfortable, casual shoes that look good (got to stay hip with the preteens) and feel good.

For casual, on the go shoes, I have a few favorites.  The first one is the Moab Vent by Merrell.  This is a rugged, yet lightweight hiking shoe with a Vibram® Multi-sport sole for grip and durability.  It looks great with jeans for kicking around town and offers all day support with an Ortholite® Anatomical footbed.

OR

I also like the Targhee II by Keen.  This shoe looks great with jeans for a casual night out (with me), a fun day out with the kids or if his inner mountain climber kicks in, he is all set.  This is a rugged and breathable shoe with a metatomical footbed that quickly molds to the shape of the foot for superior support.

or

How about kickin’ it old school with the Craig by Dunham?  This is a great casual slip on shoe that is perfect for keeping up with the kids.  It has a fun look, easy on/easy off and provides an Ortholite Foam Footbed for all day comfort.

The great news is that we have shoes for all occasions.  The challenging part is picking only a few favorites. We love them all!
