After such a mild winter, it is not surprising that we are experiencing such beautiful Spring weather. I don’t know about you, but with each new season I feel like I am pulling out the same old clothes year after year. I will also admit (and I have in the past) that I am a bit fashion challened when it comes to the “look of the season”. I do try to update my wardrobe each season with a new key piece or two, but don’t always know exactly what I should be looking for to keep things looking current or fresh.
Now, I know many of you have a passion for fashion and a strong LOVE for shoes. If you have advice on updating an existing outfit, please share. We would love to hear from you! Sometimes what seems easy to one person, can be very challenging for others (yes, I am speaking about myself right now). 🙂
Lucky enough from me, my friend Dawn Fryxell of Lucky Girl Jewels and Styling saves the day (or season) with wonderful ideas that are easy and more importantly, budget friendly. Dawn sent me a few simple style tips to add spark to any outfit. Here’s what Dawn suggests…
“Spring is all about color! Don’t be afraid to add a pop of color to any outfit! Try a bold color blazer, bright handbag, or fun color shoe! Find one piece with color and add it to something neutral, like white pants, khaki shorts, or jeans! Have fun with fashion this spring! Don’t be afraid to express yourself through fashion! Be confident, be YOU!”
