2014 Shoe Year’s Resolution

Happy Holidays! I hope you are enjoying the season with fun and family and friends. It is hard to believe that we are nearing the end of December, the winter solstice is behind us (longer days – and warmer days are just around the corner) and we are looking to a brand new calendar year.

I truly hope that 2013 has been kind to you. I hope that your challenges have made you stronger and that your blessings have made you grateful.
Last year, I wrote about a Shoe Year’s Resolution.  I think that the Shoe Year’s Resolution goes hand in hand with the New Year’s Resolution because no matter what you do, your shoes are going to support you on your journey. Well, unless of course your New Year’s Resolution is to get more sleep. In that case, you will want a good mattress. 🙂 In fact, we like to suggest to our customers that they invest in good shoes and a good mattress, because you spend most of your life on one or the other.

So, here is my Shoe Year’s Resolution advice to everyone (myself included). Invest in a good pair of shoes (here’s a coupon to help get you started). Get your feet measured and get shoes that support you in all that you do. Your feet are the foundation to your entire body. Those feet work hard for you every single day. Be good to them.

Our feet are easy to ignore. Well, until they start to hurt. Foot pain is terrible because you feel it with every single step. Let us help you kick off a healthy new year starting with your feet. We know feet and we know shoes. We are a sit and fit model shoe store (not too many of those around anymore). What does “sit and fit” mean? Well, you sit and we will fit you in shoes that work well with your feet. We will measure your feet, evaluate your feet, discuss your daily activity and suggest appropriate footwear based on the evaluation.

The foundation to a healthy new year truly starts with your feet. So, here’s to healthy feet and good shoes. Here’s to a new year filled with happiness, good health and new adventures. Have a happy and safe New Year!
